About Bradford & Cookbury Parish Council
What the parish council does and what it is responsible for
Bradford & Cookbury Parish Council is responsible for representing the views of the community, developing ideas and projects that will benefit the parish, and assisting with the management of the day to day affairs of the parish.
The parish council meet on a bimonthly basis to discuss, consider and action a wide range of issues and requests, such as:
- Planning
- Highways
- Traffic
- Community Safety
- Litter
- Dog Fouling
- Foot Paths
- Street Lighting
Bradford & Cookbury Parish Council meet bimonthly on the 2nd Wednesday of the month at the Village Hall.
Prior to the start of each parish council meeting, a public session is available, where members of the public can ask questions and make comment or representations to the council. At the discretion of the Chair these sessions may last up to 15 minutes.
